Current Electrical Services was started by Matt Schenck. Matt served for twenty years in the United States Navy as an aviation electronics tech.
After retirement from the Navy, he went on to work as an electrician. Combining both his post Navy work as an electrician and his time in the Navy, he was able to apply to Washington State to take the 01 Electrical Journeyman Exam. Passing that, and the General Administrator's Exam, he started Current Electrical Services.
The years of experience in the Navy pertaining to safety and following prodedural manuals were a perfect primer for the world of the National Electrical Code (NEC), the WAC, and the RCW. Numerous years in the Quality Assurance Division helped prepare for the state inspections required of electrical installations.
